Coconut milk itself gives the drink a delicate, creamy, tropical taste, and the combination of aromatic spices and brown sugar adds even more seductive caramel and spicy notes.

Just keep in mind that when serving the drink chilled or with ice, the flavors, especially the sweetness, are felt a little weaker, so you should add a little more sugar and spices in advance than you are used to.

Coffee layer:

Ground coffee - 3 tsp. with a slide

Water - 250 ml

Brown sugar - 2 tbsp. (or to taste)

Cardamom - 3 boxes

Ground cinnamon - 0.5-1 tsp. (taste)

Ground nutmeg - 0.25 tsp. (optional)

Milk layer:

Coconut milk - 150-200 ml

Water (boiled and cooled) - 100 ml

Vanilla sugar - 10 g

Additionally (optional):

Ice - to taste

Coconut oil - to taste

1. Brew sweet, strong coffee using any convenient method, adding cardamom, ground cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar.

2. To prepare coffee in a Turk: measure ground black coffee, sugar and spices into a Turk. Stir and add 250 ml of cold water. Over low heat, bring the mixture to almost a boil. When the coffee foam begins to rise, remove the Turk from the heat and wait for it to settle. Then return the pot to low heat again and repeat the process two more times, each time removing the drink from the heat as soon as it begins to boil. Then turn off the heat, stir and let the coffee sit for 1-2 minutes to allow the grounds to settle. If you plan to serve coffee with coconut milk chilled, cool the coffee to room temperature.

3. Cold version of coffee with coconut milk. Measure coconut milk into a blender jug. Add 100 ml of boiled cooled drinking water and vanilla sugar. Beat everything for 1-2 minutes until the sugar has dissolved and a layer of milk foam forms on the surface of the mixture.

4. Place a few ice cubes in a glass or serving glass.

5. Pour in the frothed coconut milk, filling the glass about 2/3 full. Leave 2-3 tbsp in the blender. milk mixture to make the final layer of milk foam.

6. Add chilled coffee, filling the remaining 1/3 of the glass and pulling back slightly from the edges. You can strain the coffee in advance or simply pour it in carefully, in a thin stream, so as not to disturb the layer of grounds coffee at the bottom of the container. The coffee will settle to the bottom of the glass, forming layers of contrasting colors.

7. Blend the remaining milk mixture in the blender for another 10-15 seconds and add to the glass as a final layer. Top off your drink with a straw and, if desired, stir to combine all the aromas and flavors.
