Delicious snack for adults and children!

This sand-kefir dough makes excellent baked pies; their peculiarity is that the dough is rolled out thinly and there is little of it in the finished products, but there is a lot of filling. And the filling is very simple - sausage with cheese.

Ингредиенты

200 g kefir

100 g butter

2 eggs

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. soda

3 cups flour

For filling:

200 g half-smoked sausage

150 g boiled sausage

150 g hard cheese

70 g cheese

Рецепт

1. Chop the butter and leave for 10 minutes at room temperature until it softens a little

2. Add flour and salt to the butter and use your hands to turn the mixture into crumbs.

3. Pour soda into the kefir, mix well, then pour the kefir and 1 egg into the flour crumbs, knead into a homogeneous dough. Cover the dough and set aside while you prepare the filling.

4. To make the filling, cut the entire sausage into the smallest cubes possible.

5. Grate the hard cheese on a fine grater.

6. Crumble the cheese with your hands and mix with sausage and hard cheese.

7. Divide the dough into 3 parts, take one part, roll it out to a thickness of 0.5 mm, cut out circles from the dough with a glass. Then roll out each circle a little more with a rolling pin. Make cuts on both sides inside the circle as in the picture.

8. Place about 1 tsp in the middle. fillings.

9. Throw one strip of the circle over to the opposite side, press down the edges.

10. Place the other strip on the opposite side, also press down the edges so that the filling does not leak out during baking. You can form all the pies this way, but I made half open pies and half regular, closed pies. Place the pies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and brush with a lightly beaten egg (unfortunately, I forgot to remove this moment, but I’m sure you can handle it).

11. Place the pies in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for about 25 minutes, until golden brown.

12. Sausage pies are ready.
