You can create an excellent snack dish in 5 minutes using pita bread and tomatoes, if you have them on hand!
Lavash rolls with tomatoes are so easy and quick to create that you only need 5 minutes to prepare them! This is especially true when uninvited guests are already on the doorstep, and there are only tomatoes and pita bread in the refrigerator. The most important condition is a sharp knife, since without it you will not get even rolls, but pieces of pita bread with the filling squeezed out.
The variety of tomatoes can be any, but it is advisable to purchase fleshy tomatoes rather than juicy ones. Remember that after cutting the tomatoes into slices, they need to be salted and left for 5 minutes - during this time juice will be released from the vegetables, which needs to be drained, otherwise your prepared dish will become wet and will not hold its shape.
You can choose garlic mayonnaise, with a minimum percentage of fat content, etc. - navigate according to your taste. Dill can be replaced with parsley or stem celery.

1. Place two sheets of pita bread on a board or work surface. I recommend using two sheets at once so that the appetizer can be cut without problems. If desired, they can also be greased with mayonnaise. Grease the top sheet with mayonnaise of any fat content.
2. Cut the tomatoes on a board into slices, circles, add salt to the slices and leave for 5 minutes, then drain the resulting juice. Place the tomato slices on a sheet of lavash.
3. Wash the dill sprigs and place them between the tomato slices. Add salt and pepper.
4. Roll the sheets of pita bread into a roll, holding them lightly and pressing to prevent voids from forming.
5. Cut the roll with a sharp knife and place portioned pita rolls with tomatoes on a plate or dish, decorate to your liking and serve. You can add sour cream to the dish.
