Lula kebab is a famous dish made from lamb.

It’s not at all difficult to make such a delicious dish at home, try it. I recommend a lighter and more affordable version of beef lula kebab. This is, of course, an adaptation of the recipe for home use. There is no need to add an egg. Moreover, the recipe does not include an egg in this dish. It’s good to add finely chopped greens to the meat - cilantro, parsley, dill.

Ингредиенты

Minced beef - 1 kg

or minced lamb - 1 kg

Onions - 1 pc.

Garlic - 4-5 cloves

Chicken egg (optional) - 1 pc.

Greens (optional) - to taste

Ground black pepper - to taste

Salt - to taste

Рецепт

1. Peel and wash the onion, cut into small cubes. Peel the garlic and finely chop it with a knife.

2. Place the ground beef (or lamb) in a bowl, add salt and pepper. Add an egg if desired.

3. Add onion and garlic. Mix the minced meat well. Beat the minced meat on a cutting board (about 5 minutes). The minced meat will have a uniform consistency and will be quite sticky. Then put the minced meat in the refrigerator for half an hour to marinate.

4. Form lula kebab. Grease your hands with vegetable oil. Form a sausage (3-4 cm in diameter), put it on a wooden skewer. Press the minced sausage onto the skewer as tightly as possible so that it does not fall apart. Fry beef lula kebab on the grill or at home in a frying pan. To do this, heat a frying pan and pour in vegetable oil. Place lula kebab into hot oil. Fry the sausages over low heat on all sides (10-15 minutes) until golden brown, while constantly turning the beef kebab.

5. Serve beef lula kebab with fresh vegetables, pickled onions, ketchup or adjika.
