Chocolate trifle with banana and kiwi

Chocolate trifle with banana and kiwi is an easy to prepare, but very tasty and delicate holiday dessert.

Instead of traditional sponge cake, we use chocolate chip cookies. Layers of cookies and pieces of fruit harmoniously alternate with airy butter cream, and a chocolate-cream layer completes this sweet composition.

Ингредиенты

Chocolate cookies - 80 g

Cream 33% fat - 250 g

Curd cheese - 200 g

Powdered sugar - 50 g (or to taste)

Banana (small) - 110 g (peeled weight)

Kiwi - 100 g (1 pc.)

For the ganache:

Milk chocolate - 100 g

Cream 33% fat - 50 g

1. If you have a regular chocolate bar, then divide it into small pieces.

2. First, grind the cookies into fine crumbs in any way convenient for you. I used a food processor. You can put the cookies in a bag and crush them with a rolling pin.

3. Lightly mash/beat the curd cheese with a whisk or spatula to make it softer and fluffier, in this form it will be easier to combine with cream.

4. Pour cold cream (200 g) into a whipping bowl, add powdered sugar.

5. Beat the cream with a mixer until stiff peaks form, 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to overwhip the cream, otherwise lumps will form.

6. Add curd cheese to the cream. Mix gently with a spatula.

7. For convenience, transfer the resulting cream into a pastry bag. It is not necessary to use a nozzle.

8. Prepare the fruit. Peel the banana and cut into half circles or quarters. Peel and cut the kiwi in the same way as the banana.

9. Place a layer of cream (1/3 part) on the bottom of the glasses (I have 4 glasses with a volume of 200 ml).

10. Spread cookie crumbs on top.

11. Place a portion of cream on top again (1/3 part).

12. Place prepared fruits on top of the cream (I set aside some of the kiwi for decoration).

13. Spread the remaining cream on top.

14. Now prepare the ganache. Combine chocolate and cream (50 g) together.

15. Melt the chocolate in the microwave (short bursts for 10-15 seconds) or in a water bath. Mix thoroughly until smooth.

16. Spread the ganache on top of the buttercream. Place the chocolate trifle with banana and kiwi in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

17. After a while, decorate each serving of dessert with kiwi pieces and serve.
