Classic pancakes with milk

Pancakes with milk are a great option for breakfast.
It is generally accepted that pancakes are prepared with kefir. Today we will dispel this dogma and prepare classic pancakes with milk. According to this recipe, they turn out tender, of medium thickness, and fry well even without oil, just in a dry frying pan with a non-stick coating.
IMPORTANT: pancakes made with milk will not turn out as fluffy and airy as pancakes made with yeast or pancakes made with kefir. These pancakes will have a dense structure. But if you bake small pancakes, they will rise due to the baking powder and will be quite soft.

Milk - 200 ml
Flour - 1.5-2 cups (depending on the flour)
Chicken egg - 1 pc.
Sugar - 1-2 tbsp.
Baking powder for dough - 1 tsp. (with a slide)
Salt - to taste
Vegetable oil for frying - 100 ml

1. Beat an egg into a bowl. Let's add sugar. Add sugar to your taste, I add a little sugar because I will serve the pancakes with condensed milk.
2. Throw in a pinch of salt.
3. Beat the egg, sugar and salt well with a whisk.
4. Add baking powder for the dough.
5. Now pour in half the flour.
6. Pour in half the milk. Mix everything well with a whisk so that no lumps form. Then add the remaining flour and pour in the second part of the milk. Knead the dough again with a whisk.
7. The consistency of the dough should be like thick sour cream, so it is better to add flour gradually, using spoons.
IMPORTANT: You may need more or less flour, depending on the type and quality of flour, as well as the level of gluten in it.
8. Heat the frying pan over the fire, pour in the oil. Let the oil warm up and spoon the dough into the pan, forming pancakes. Make the pancakes small in size. Fry the pancakes for 1.5-2 minutes over medium heat. You can cover the pan with a lid to help the pancakes bake better.
9. Turn the pancakes over to the other side with a spatula and fry for another 1-2 minutes.
10. Place the finished pancakes on a paper napkin to absorb excess oil. Prepare pancakes from the remaining dough.
11. Milk pancakes according to the classic recipe are ready. Serve them with jam, syrups, honey, or like I did, with condensed milk.
