Ингредиенты

Tomatoes - 800 g

Sweet red pepper - 100 g

Sugar - 25 g

Onion - 50 g

Garlic - 1 clove

Vinegar 5% - 70 ml

Hot red pepper (ground) - to taste

Salt – 0.5 teaspoon

Рецепт

1. Wrap one red sweet pepper weighing 100 grams in foil and bake over an open fire, turning over from time to time, for 5-10 minutes. (You can bake the peppers in the oven.) Place the baked peppers on a plate in foil and leave to cool.

2. Remove the stem from peeled tomatoes and place in a blender.

3. Remove the red sweet pepper from the foil, remove the stem, seeds and skin.

4. Add to the tomatoes and grind everything together in a blender.

5. Cut 50 grams of onion into small cubes.

6. Chop one clove of garlic.

7. Place a thick-bottomed frying pan on the fire. Pour 25 grams of sugar into the pan, melt the sugar.

8. Add chopped tomatoes and peppers, stir, bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for 5-10 minutes.

9. Add 70 milliliters of 5% vinegar (we add 20 milliliters of balsamic vinegar and 50 milliliters of red wine vinegar), stir and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes.

10. Rub the resulting mixture through a sieve. Add a pinch or to taste of ground red hot pepper and half a teaspoon of salt, mix.

11. Ketchup is ready. Cool and serve the delicious, healthy homemade Ketchup sauce to the table.
