Many people know that tomatoes go well with cheese and garlic. Take, for example, a cold appetizer since the 90s, which was prepared for all holidays.

The appetizer is no less tasty when served hot! Stretching, aromatic, slightly spicy cheese and juicy baked tomato are a wonderful tandem.

Of course, you can bake tomatoes in the oven this way, or you can cook them in the fresh air. We will use a grill with some hot coals left in it as an oven.

Any cheese will do, as long as it melts well. I have "Russian" and processed cheese.

Tomato - 2 pcs.

Cheese - 80 g

Garlic - 1-2 cloves

Mayonnaise or sour cream - 1 tsp.

1. To cook tomatoes with cheese on the grill (on the grill or in the oven), take fairly large tomatoes; they should be firm and ripe.

2. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, grate the garlic on a fine grater.

3. Cut off the top of the tomato, extract the pulp, the main thing is not to damage the walls. Chop some of the pulp.

4. Add tomato and mayonnaise to the cheese. Mix.

5. Stuff the tomatoes.

6. Cover the tomatoes. Wrap in thick foil. I have two layers of thin foil.

7. In the grill, move the coals apart so that the heat is around the tomatoes. Bake tomatoes with cheese on the grill for 20-25 minutes. You can check readiness by opening the foil slightly; the filling should melt completely and the tomatoes should become soft. There will be a lot of juice in the foil, be careful not to burn yourself, carefully drain it before serving.

8. Juicy and aromatic tomatoes stuffed with cheese are ready.
