Fried sausage pies

The original savory filling for fried pies is made from sausage.
Knead the dough for such pies with yeast - in milk with the addition of water, eggs and vegetable oil. Any sausage is suitable for the filling - I used boiled and smoked. This mix is very successful and will make the baked goods incredibly aromatic and mega-appetizing!
Ингредиенты
Wheat flour - 400-450 g
Milk - 150 g
Water - 100 g
Raw yeast - 18 g
Chicken egg - 1 pc.
Boiled sausage - 150 g
Smoked sausage - 100 g
Vegetable oil - 40 g for dough + for frying pies
Sugar - 1 tsp.
Salt - 0.5 tsp.

1. Mix heated milk with water - the liquid should be warm. Crumble raw yeast into it, add sugar and salt. Mix everything thoroughly with a spoon or whisk.
2. Pour in refined vegetable oil and beat in a small chicken egg. Mix everything again until smooth.
3. Gradually add sifted wheat flour and stir into the liquid mixture.
4. Knead soft dough, roll it into a ball and leave to rise, covered with a towel or cling film.
5. After about 40-45 minutes, the dough will have doubled in size - it’s time to fry the pies. Lightly grease your hands with vegetable oil, knead the dough and divide it into equal balls.
6. Press each ball of dough with your palm and place the filling in the center - sausage cut into strips.
7. Bring the edges of the dough together and shape into a pie, giving it an elongated, slightly rounded shape. Make the rest of the pies in the same way.
8. Heat enough oil in a frying pan and place the pies in batches, seam side down. Start frying, turn the heat to medium.
9. Fry the pies on both sides for 3-4 minutes until thoroughly fried and golden brown. Place fried pies on paper napkins to remove excess fat. Fry the next batch of pies in the same way.
10. Serve the finished fried pies with sausage to the table. You can offer them sour cream or any other sauce. The dough according to this recipe comes out airy and soft, and immediately after frying it is slightly crispy. You'll like it!
