While you cook the meatballs, boil the pasta - and now dinner is on the table. Today I propose to cook chicken meatballs with rice in sour cream sauce. If you like sauces like these, be sure to cook them!
To prepare chicken meatballs in sour cream sauce in a frying pan, prepare the ingredients according to the list. I usually don't add an egg, but this time I had more rice than indicated, so I added an egg to make sure the meatballs didn't fall apart.
You can take any paprika: regular, smoked. If you choose the second option, take less than the specified amount, because... This seasoning has a very active taste. Boil the rice in salted water until cooked or half cooked. Actually, there is no wisdom, so let's get started.
Ингредиенты
For minced meat:
Minced chicken - 500 g
Salt, pepper - to taste
Garlic - 1 clove
Onions - 1 pc.
Chicken egg - 1 pc.
Rice - 3-5 tbsp.
Refined sunflower oil for frying - 30 ml
Sauce:
Butter - 30 g
Wheat flour - 2 tbsp.
Water/broth - 400 ml
Salt, pepper - to taste
Sour cream - 1-2 tbsp.
Paprika - 1 tsp.
Рецепт
1. Mix minced meat, egg, salt, pepper, finely chopped onion, rice. Knead until smooth.
2. Form meatballs from the minced meat with wet hands, roll in flour (2 tablespoons) and fry on both sides for several minutes. Place the finished meatballs on a plate and set aside.
3. In another frying pan, melt the butter, then add the flour and mix well.
4. Then, without removing the pan from the stove, add water or broth, mix well so that there are no lumps. Warm it up. Add sour cream, salt, pepper and paprika.
5. Stir.
6. Place the meatballs in the sauce and simmer under the lid on medium heat for 5-7 minutes. Turn the meatballs over a couple of times to coat them with the sauce. If desired, you can add chopped herbs. Chicken meatballs in sour cream sauce in a frying pan are ready. Serve immediately.
