A fragrant quick pie made from shortcrust pastry filled with hard cheese and creamy egg filling.
Cheese is a nutritious product, and baking with it turns out appetizing and satisfying. It is added to the dough, to the filling or sprinkled on the top of the products to give a golden brown crust. This quick cheese pie consists of a base made from shortcrust pastry, hard cheese and creamy egg filling. Garlic and herbs perfectly complement baked goods. The fragrant pie is best served hot.

Butter – 125 g
Sour cream – 3 tbsp.
Salt – 1 pinch
Wheat flour – 240 ml
Filling:
Hard cheese – 400 g
Fill:
Chicken egg – 4 pcs.
Cream 20-25% fat – 200 ml
Garlic – 2 cloves
Dill - several sprigs
Additionally:
Vegetable oil – 1 tsp.

1. So, let’s start preparing a delicious quick cheese pie! I prepare the products according to the list.
2. In a bowl, combine room temperature butter, sour cream and salt.
3. Add sifted flour.
4. Knead soft dough. If the dough sticks too much to your hands, add a little more flour, the dough should not be tight. I transfer the dough into a bag and place it in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.
5. Grease a springform pan with a diameter of 23 cm with vegetable oil, put the dough in it, distribute it over the bottom and sides (the height of the side is about 3-4 cm).
6. I grate the cheese into the dough base on a coarse grater and distribute it in an even layer.
7. Prepare the filling. In a bowl, combine cream and eggs.
8. Beat the ingredients with a mixer.
9. Then add chopped garlic and chopped dill. I stir the filling.
10. Pour the egg mixture over the cheese.
11. I bake the pie in an oven preheated to 180-190 degrees for about 30-35 minutes. The top of the pie should be browned. The cheese filling will rise slightly immediately after baking.
12. After a few minutes, the cheese “cap” will settle a little.
