Cauliflower Casserole with Ham

An excellent recipe for cauliflower casserole with ham, sausage and egg, with the addition of milk.
Cauliflower casserole with (sausage/ham/sausages to taste) turns out very tender, tasty, juicy and very easy to prepare. In addition, cauliflower itself is very healthy - it contains a large amount of vitamin C and B vitamins. If you follow a vegetarian lifestyle or fast, simply omit the ham. To prepare this dish, I used a mold measuring 20 by 30 centimeters.
Prepare the necessary ingredients for the casserole.

Cauliflower – 0.5 kg.
Hard cheese – 100-150 g
Ham (or sausage, frankfurters) - 150 g
Onions - 1 pc.
Dill – 5-6 sprigs
Eggs – 4-5 pcs.
Milk – 300 ml.
Garlic – 1-2 cloves
Salt - to taste
Sunflower oil - for frying

1. Wash the cauliflower in warm water, then divide it into inflorescences and quickly boil in boiling salted water for 3-4 minutes.
2. Finely chop the onion. Cut the ham into cubes. Fry the onion in vegetable oil until golden brown, add the ham to the onion and fry for another 1 minute.
3. Prepare the filling. To do this, beat the eggs with a whisk, add milk, garlic passed through a press, add a little salt and beat with a whisk a little more.
4. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
5. Place boiled cauliflower in a baking dish, sprinkle onion and ham on top. Then sprinkle with chopped dill.
6. Pour the egg wash over the cabbage and sprinkle with grated cheese.
7. Place the cauliflower dish in an oven preheated to 190°C for 25-30 minutes.
8. Let the finished cauliflower casserole cool slightly, then cut into portions and serve.
