Homemade cheeseburger with ground beef patty

Many people love and often buy burgers in cafes, but you can cook them at home.

The recipe is very simple. The main thing is to fry delicious ground beef patties and prepare the remaining ingredients - tomato, pickles, onions and cheddar cheese. For the sauce, take ketchup and grainy mustard - this is an ideal addition to the meat.

Burger buns - 2 pcs.

Minced beef - 400 g

Tomato - 60 g (1 pc.)

Pickled cucumbers - 50 g (2 pcs.)

Purple onion - 40 g (1 medium-sized)

Cheddar cheese - 4 plates

Lettuce leaves - 2 pcs.

Ketchup - 4 tbsp. spoons

Grainy mustard - 1 teaspoon

Salt - 0.25 teaspoon (to taste)

Ground black pepper - on the tip of a knife (to taste)

Vegetable oil - 15-30 ml (1-2 tbsp. spoons)

1. You can buy ground beef ready-made, but it’s better to make it yourself. We choose delicious pickled cucumbers, and take fresh tomatoes and lettuce leaves.

2. Place ground beef in a deep bowl. Add only salt and ground pepper to the minced meat.

3. Form two round cutlets from the minced meat, about 1.5-2 cm high; the width of the cutlet should be about 1 cm wider than the burger bun (the cutlet will become smaller when frying).

(You can use any mold to form the cutlets. If there is no mold, you can cut off a small plastic bottle or a tin can of canned vegetables.) When forming the cutlets, make a small depression in the center; during the frying process, the cutlet will level out. Place the cutlet preparations in the refrigerator for a while while the remaining ingredients are prepared.

4. Add mustard grains to ketchup.

5. Mix everything thoroughly - the sauce is ready.

6. Peel the onion. Wash and dry the onion and tomato.

Cut the tomato into slices, cut the onion into rings and disassemble them.

7. Cut pickled cucumbers into slices. If the cucumbers are small, it is better to cut them crosswise.

8. Remove the cheddar cheese slices from their packaging. Wash the lettuce leaves and dry them.

9. Cut the burger buns in half.

10. Toast the buns in a grill pan for a few minutes until golden brown.

11. Lightly grease the vacated frying pan with oil, place the cutlets there and fry for 3-6 minutes on each side (depending on the thickness of the cutlet and the desired degree of frying). Carefully pierce the cutlet, check readiness - the juice should be clear, and the meat should not be red.

12. Start shaping the burger - place the bottom halves of the buns on the work surface.

13. Place onion rings on top of the buns.

14. Spread 1/4 of the ketchup and mustard sauce on the buns with onions.

15. Place hot cutlets on top of the sauce on the buns.

Top each cutlet with 2 slices of cheese (it will melt under the heat).

16. Place pickled cucumbers on top.

17. And for cucumbers - tomato slices.

18. Place lettuce leaves and remaining sauce on top of the tomatoes.

19. Cover everything with the other halves of the buns.

20. You can fasten the finished burger with a skewer.
