Stewed potatoes with meat - what could be simpler and tastier!?
This dish is so cozy, homey, satisfying, all the ingredients are simple, no frills. The meat is pork, I like it the most, it won’t be the same with chicken, I don’t add carrots so as not to overpower the taste of the meat and potatoes, and be sure to have garlic and ground pepper at the end of cooking - a delicious aroma will fill the whole kitchen!
To prepare stewed potatoes with meat in a saucepan, prepare pork, potatoes, vegetable oil, onions, garlic, salt, water and ground pepper.
Ингредиенты
Pork (not lean) - 350 g
Potatoes - 8 pcs.
Onions - 1 pc.
Garlic - 2 cloves
Unscented vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. l.
Salt - to taste
Ground black pepper - to taste
Water - 0.5 cups

1. Cut the pork into small cubes. Pour a little vegetable oil into a saucepan with a thick bottom (it can be a casserole or a stewpan - in a word, any vessel for stewing) and add the meat.
2. Fry the meat until crusty, add salt and onions (small cubes).
3. Now fry the meat with onions. While the meat and onions are frying, peel the potatoes.
4. Chop the potatoes (medium-sized cubes) and place in a saucepan with the meat and onions.
5. Pour in hot water and simmer the meat and potatoes in a saucepan over low heat until the potatoes are cooked. Somewhere around the middle of stewing, add salt to the potatoes, taking into account the fact that you also added salt to the meat. One minute before cooking, add garlic (chopped) and ground black pepper to the potatoes, stir.
6. That’s it, the stewed potatoes and meat are ready! You can (and should) submit it!
