1. Prepare all the necessary products for the Venetian Cicchetti appetizers - there are quite a lot of them and they can change; only the baguette, on the basis of which cicchetti is most often prepared, remains unchanged.

2. Cut the baguette into small pieces.

3. Spread the pieces with ricotta or soft cottage cheese.

4. Cut the ham into small pieces and place on top of the ricotta, pressing lightly. You can also decorate the appetizer with fresh herbs.

5. To prepare cicchetti with egg pancake, you must first crack a fresh egg into a bowl, add salt and beat with a fork.

6. Next, you need to fry the pancake in vegetable oil and let it cool.

7. Place baby spinach leaves without tails on the baguette pieces.

8. Cut the egg pancake into small pieces and place on top of the spinach. This version of cicchetti is ready. Before serving, you can garnish with fresh herbs and sprinkle with spices.

9. Cut the brie cheese into small pieces and place on a baguette, spread lightly. You can lightly sprinkle with spices.

10. Place basil leaves, olives, cut into quarters or halves.

11. Place the appetizer on a plate or cutting board, sprinkle with spices (optional) and serve.
