Delicious refreshing drink. Preparing berry kvass is very simple. Try it!

My kvass turned out to be slightly sour. If you like sweet drinks, just increase the amount of sugar!

Ингредиенты

Fresh or frozen berries (currants, raspberries) - 300 g

Fresh mint - 3 sprigs

Lemon - 1/2 pcs.

Sugar - 100 g (to taste)

Dry yeast - 1/2 tsp.

Raisins - 10 pcs.

Water - 2 l

Рецепт

1. Wash and sort the berries (I have white and red currants, and raspberries).

2. Crush the berries with a fork.

3. Add mint and lemon zest to the water. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.

4. Add berries and sugar to the water with mint and zest. Cool to 36-37 degrees.

5. When the drink is slightly warm, pour it into a glass jar (I have a 2-liter jar), add the yeast. Stir.

6. Cover with gauze and leave at room temperature for 24 hours. Strain the kvass through gauze folded in several layers into a bottle. Add 7-10 raisins. Cover the bottle with a lid and place in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

7. Homemade berry kvass is ready. Enjoy a nice refreshing drink!!!
