A dish of Ukrainian cuisine that is worth trying. Essentially, “Breast” is a homemade cheese made from milk and eggs. I recommend!

I found this recipe on one of the culinary sites. A young man was preparing Easter breast from eggs and milk. He said that they prepare such breast for Easter. Prepare in advance, a day before serving.

I quote the words of the author: “Breast” is how a compacted round piece of some soft, loose, crumbling substance sounds in Slovak, Czech and Ukrainian.”

You need 5 eggs for 0.5 liters of milk. I took 4 eggs because they are very large.

Ингредиенты

Milk - 500 ml

Chicken eggs - 5 pcs.

Salt - 0.5 tbsp.

Pepper - to taste

Fresh parsley - 5 sprigs

1. Mix milk and eggs in a ladle or saucepan. Beat lightly until smooth. Add salt and pepper.

2. Finely chop the greens and add to the milk mixture.

3. Place the ladle on the stove. Over medium heat, stirring, bring the mixture to a boil and wait until lumps begin to form and the whey separates.

4. Line a sieve with gauze and pour out the mixture.

5. Let the serum drain, then tuck the edges of the gauze. Place a saucer on the mixture and a weight on the saucer. Leave for several hours, preferably overnight.

6. Easter breast made from eggs and milk is ready. Serve chilled. Bon appetit!
