Ginger lemonade

Most of us are familiar with the drink that best quenches thirst and refreshes - this is, of course, lemonade.

There are a great many ways to prepare it. You can name at least two reasons why you need to prepare this drink yourself: natural ingredients and a brighter taste, unlike store-bought analogues. According to one of my favorite recipes, lemonade is made with ginger and mint. By the way, for the specified amount of ingredients, you can use 6-7 tablespoons of honey instead of sugar, it will also turn out very tasty.

Ингредиенты

Lemons: 3 pcs;

Ginger: 50 grams;

Mint leaves: a handful;

Carnation: 4-5 inflorescences;

Sugar: 200 grams;

Water: 3 liters;

Рецепт

1. Wash and peel the ginger root using a regular vegetable knife.

2. Grate the ginger on a fine grater.

3. Cut each lemon into 2 halves and squeeze the juice out of them. The most convenient way to do this is with a fork.

4. Wash mint leaves with cool water.

5. Add a glass of sugar, cloves and ginger to the pan. Pour lemon juice through a fine sieve or cheesecloth.

6. Pour 3 liters of filtered water into the pan and put on fire. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

7. When our ginger lemonade is ready, add mint leaves to it, cover with a lid and leave to cool overnight.

8. Pour the lemonade into a jug and cool in the refrigerator. You can also dilute this refreshing drink with sparkling water. Enjoy your meal!
