Ribs fried with prunes and cherries

The smoky taste of prunes and the sourness of cherries go very well with fried meat. The dish turns out to be very aromatic, because in addition to the smoky note, various spices are also present.

Ингредиенты

Pork ribs – 500 g

Dried prunes (pitted) - 70 g (5-6 pcs.)

Frozen cherries (or fresh; pitted) - 125 g

Ground coriander - 0.5 teaspoon

Dried thyme - 0.5 teaspoon

Dried cloves - 3 buds

Ground black pepper - to taste

Salt - to taste

Vegetable oil – 45 ml

Рецепт

1. Prepare the products. Lightly defrost the cherries.

2. Pour hot water over the prunes and leave for 5-10 minutes to soften. Dry the prunes and cut into small pieces.

3. Cut the ribs between the bones. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil and fry the meat on all sides for 10-15 minutes. Add prunes.

4. Place the cherries there. Add coriander and ground black pepper. We also add cloves.

5. Pour 150 ml of water into the ribs and add a little salt. Simmer covered over low heat for 60-90 minutes until the meat is soft.

6. Add thyme and simmer for just a couple more minutes.

7. Ribs stewed with prunes and cherries are ready.
