In this case, one will be enough to satisfy your hunger. Another advantage of these pies is that they are not fried, but baked in the oven. And to make the pies more appetizing, they are sprinkled with sesame seeds.

For the test:

Milk - 150 ml

Water - 150 ml

Egg white - 1 pc.

Salt - 8 g

Flour - 450 g + for working with dough

Dry yeast - 5 g

or pressed yeast - 20 g

For filling:

Potatoes - 550 g

Butter - 20 g

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Ground black pepper.

Sesame - 10 g

To grease the flatbreads:

Water - 2 tbsp. spoons

Yolk - 1 pc.

1. Prepare the products. There is no need to heat or cool anything.

2. Combine the water in a wide bowl with milk and egg white (the yolk will be needed for the filling - we put it under the film for now).

3. Mix.

4. Add flour.

5. Knead the viscous dough (no need to add flour). There is no need to knead for a long time - just until all the flour is moistened.

6. Leave it under the film for an hour - during this time we will do two stretches with an interval of 20 minutes.

7. Cut the peeled potatoes into pieces and place them in a saucepan. Fill with water, salt and boil under the lid for 20-25 minutes after the water boils.

8. After 20 minutes from the start of proofing, we do the first stretch - with wet hands we grab the dough from the edge and pull it up.

Fold the drawn edge to the center. We do the same with the second side of the dough. Then we turn the dough 90°, pick it up under the center and lift it - the edges on both sides hang down and stretch under the influence of gravity. Fold the dough, round it and return it under the film for another 20 minutes.

Then we do the same stretch.

9. Separate the potatoes from the liquid and pepper them

10. The risen dough no longer sticks. Now you can use flour to make it easier to work with.

On a floured table, knead the dough into a layer, and then fold it in three.

11. Cut the resulting roll into 6 slices.

12. Turn the slice to cut and knead it with your fingers into a long rectangular layer.

13. Roll into a long tube (lengthwise) - form a loaf. After each turn, secure the rolled part of the dough by pressing it into the base.

14. Cover the formed loaves with film and leave for 5 minutes..

15. Place the loaf with the seam up and flatten it with your fingertips into an oblong oval 7-9 cm wide.

16. Place a strip of 1/6 of the puree along the middle and press lightly.

17. We connect the edges of the dough over the filling and pinch it into a seam - we form the loaf again.

18. Place seam side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Press with your fingertips into a long “boat”. If the baking sheet is small, you can bake the cakes on two baking sheets in batches of 3 pieces.

19. Mix the yolk with water. Grease the flatbreads with this mixture.

20. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and leave while the oven preheats - the yolk should dry out slightly.

Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.

21. Bake the loaves for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees, preferably with convection.

22. The loaf pies with potatoes were well baked and covered with a golden brown crust.
