Chicken thighs in a slow cooker with potatoes

Thanks to the multicooker, you are guaranteed a tasty, aromatic and satisfying lunch or dinner. Gather everything you need to cook chicken thighs in a slow cooker with potatoes. If the thighs are frozen, remove them from the refrigerator in advance so they have time to thaw. Peel the potatoes and rinse thoroughly.

Chicken thighs - 800 g
Potatoes - 600 g
Onion - 1 pc.
Carrots - 1 pc.
Vegetable oil - 20 g
Water - 450 ml
Salt, spices - to taste

1. Cut each chicken thigh into 2-3 pieces.
2. Peel the carrots and onions. Grate the carrots and finely chop the onion.
3. Turn on the multicooker to the "Frying" mode and wait until the bowl heats up. Then pour some vegetable oil into it. Add the sliced chicken thighs and sear them on all sides until they change color and develop a delicious aroma.
4. Next, add carrots and onions to the slow cooker. Stir. Fry everything together for another 2-3 minutes.
5. Cut the potatoes into large pieces. Add it to the chicken. Add salt and spices. Pour in hot water and bring to a boil. Close the lid of the multicooker and switch it to the “Stew” mode for 30 minutes.
6. If you like your potatoes to be more boiled, then cook the chicken thighs with potatoes in a slow cooker for 15-20 minutes longer. You can add some greens to the finished dish.
