Incredibly tasty, very soft braids with apple and berry filling will not leave you indifferent.

Bomb taste! This is now my favorite recipe! No yeast needed! The dough turns out to be the most delicate and very soft, so that the braids simply melt in your mouth. I don’t even know whether it’s the amount of baking powder that makes the dough so tender, or the combination of cottage cheese with it. Because I’ve made curd dough before, but the result wasn’t so healthy. One more plus needs to be taken into account - saving time, no fuss with yeast dough and waiting for it to rise.

In general, I advise you to cook and try it. If there are no berries, you can make braids with only apples, but raspberries give a wonderful aroma, and even black ones - they are sweet, like honey.

Ингредиенты

Dough:

Flour - 280 g

Cottage cheese (the fattier the better) - 200 g

Egg - 1 pc.

Sugar - 70-80 g

Vegetable oil - 7 tbsp.

Baking powder - 10 g

Vanillin - 1 sachet

Filling:

Apples - 500 g

Raspberries - 100 g

Sugar - 2 tbsp.

Butter - 25 g

Powdered sugar - for serving

Рецепт

1. Grind the cottage cheese with a submersible blender along with sugar. Or rub it through a metal sieve a couple of times, achieving a smooth structure without grains.

2. Add a pinch of salt, vanillin, beat in an egg and pour in vegetable oil. Mix everything well until smooth. A regular tablespoon does the job just fine.

3. Add flour and baking powder, knead into a soft dough. Just a little flour can be added later to dust the surface, it is important not to overfill the dough with flour, it should remain very, very soft.

4. Cover the dough with cling film and refrigerate while you prepare the filling.

5. Peel the apples and cut into small pieces: the harder the apples, the smaller the pieces. Fry the apple filling in butter until soft, sprinkling with sugar to taste. Brown sugar gives apples a caramel flavor. Sweetness depends on the variety of apples and their acidity. Cinnamon lovers can add that too. When the apples are soft and all the liquid has evaporated, the filling is ready.

6. Remove the dough from the refrigerator and divide into 4 equal balls. Roll each part into a circle and cut into 4 segments.

7. Make cuts with a knife as shown in the photo, without connecting the lines together in the center. Place the apple filling and simply spread the raspberries on top.

8. First, wrap one edge of the dough over the apples, then wrap the second edge over it. Seal the wide part of the product well and tuck it inside so that the filling does not leak out during baking.

9. The drawing turns out to be more effective if you make cuts with a curly knife, I remembered about it too late).

10. Place the braids on a baking sheet with parchment. The dough itself is quite oily and does not require greasing the parchment. The braids themselves can be greased with beaten egg or left without grease, like mine. Bake curd braids with apples and berries for 20 minutes at 180 degrees. Focus on your oven; you need the products to brown well.

11. Sprinkle the braids with powdered sugar and serve with tea. Enjoy!
