Its meat is tasty, fatty and tender; this fish is often recommended for dietary nutrition. You can prepare silver carp in different ways, including making juicy meatballs with vegetables and baking them in the oven in tomato sauce. The principle of preparing fish meatballs with vegetables will not differ from meat ones. And since there is nothing complicated about this, we take everything we need and get started.

Minced silver carp - 600 g

Onions - 2 pcs.

Carrots - 1 pc.

Rice - 40 g

Tomato - 150 g

Bell pepper - 1 pc.

Chicken eggs - 1 pc.

Fresh parsley - 10 g

Salt - to taste

Pepper - to taste

1. Let's start preparing the vegetables. Peel the onions and carrots, then chop the onion into small pieces and grate the carrots.

2. Rinse the rice in water until transparent and boil in salted water until tender, then add salt to the water.

3. Cut the bell pepper into small pieces and chop the parsley.

4. Sauté onions and carrots in vegetable oil until soft.

5. In a large convenient bowl, place the minced silver carp, boiled rice, half the sautéed vegetables, a chicken egg and half the chopped parsley, and also add salt and pepper. Then all this needs to be thoroughly mixed and beaten.

6. After heating the frying pan with vegetable oil, with wet hands we form round meatballs and fry them lightly on all sides, and then we will finish cooking in the oven.

7. Transfer the fried fish meatballs to a heat-resistant form, and fry the chopped bell pepper in a frying pan.

8. After two minutes, add tomato sauce to the pan with the pepper. I have homemade thick tomato. If this is not the case, then you can even use tomato paste, diluting it with some water. Bring the sauce to a boil, season with salt and pepper to taste, if necessary, and remove from heat.

9. Pour the resulting sauce over the fish meatballs and sprinkle with the remaining parsley. Place the pan with the meatballs in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for 20 minutes.

10. Then we take out the form with aromatic meatballs.

11. Serve juicy fish meatballs with hot vegetables; you can serve them with rice or potatoes.
