A very famous dish of minced meat in the form of balls.
Many home cooks will unmistakably identify these as meatballs. Peking meatballs are an example of the huge variety in the technology of preparing this famous dish. Thanks to Chinese cabbage, the minced meat becomes more airy, and the finished meatballs turn out juicy and tender. The sauce in which the meatballs are cooked plays an important role. I have it based on thick tomato juice. And if you prepare it with sour cream, then such meatballs can be classified as dietary and even recommended for baby food.

Chicken fillet - 500 g
Chinese cabbage - 250 g
Tomato juice - 300 ml
White loaf - 100 g
Onions - 1 pc.
Starch - 1 tsp.
Salt - 0.5 tsp
Ground black pepper - to taste
Sugar - to taste
Рецепт
1. Take all the ingredients according to the list for preparing meatballs with Chinese cabbage in the oven in tomato sauce.
2. Wash the chicken fillet. Peel and wash the onions. Pour cold boiled water over the white loaf or roll and let stand for several minutes until the loaf becomes soft. Then squeeze the loaf from the water. Pass the chicken fillet, onion and soaked loaf through a meat grinder.
3. Finely chop the Chinese cabbage and add hot water. After a few minutes, drain the water, cool the cabbage and add to the minced meat.
4. Salt and pepper the minced meat.
5. Mix all minced meat ingredients well.
6. Form the prepared minced meat into balls and place them in a baking dish.
7. Prepare sauce for meatballs. Add starch, salt and sugar to taste to thick tomato juice. Mix thoroughly. There should be no lumps. Pour this sauce over the meatballs in the mold. If the juice is very thick, then dilute it with a little boiled water.
8. Bake the meatballs in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
9. Wonderful meatballs with Chinese cabbage are ready.
10. Serve the meatballs with any side dish or simply with fresh bread.
