I decided to make grape jam for the winter for the first time.

Curiosity overcame what would happen. The result was pleasing; the jam turned out moderately thick and very tasty. It's easy to prepare. I have Isabella grapes, which are usually used for wine, liqueurs or tinctures. I think that jam from any grape will turn out delicious.

Ингредиенты

Grapes - 500 g

Sugar - 170 g

Рецепт

1. Rinse the grapes with running water and separate the berries from the branches.

2. Place the berries in a saucepan; you can mash them a little with a masher. Cover the saucepan with a lid and place on low heat.

3. Boil the berries for 10-12 minutes until they release juice. I didn't use water.

4. Then rub the berries through a sieve so that the skins and seeds do not get into the jam.

5. Add sugar to the saucepan and stir.

6. Cook the jam over high heat, stirring. We check readiness by dropping a little jam on a saucer. If the drop does not spread, then the jam is ready. I have the top drops after 15 and 17 minutes, and the bottom drop after 20 minutes - the jam is ready.

7. Pour the hot jam into a sterile jar, twist it and turn it over until it cools.

8. Grape jam prepared for the winter can be stored in a city apartment.
