Water – 350 ml

Egg – 1 pc.

Flour – 6 tbsp.

Cocoa powder – 4 tbsp.

Sugar – 4 tbsp.

1. Break one egg into a deep bowl and add granulated sugar. The amount of sweetener can be adjusted to suit your taste.

2. Then pour cocoa powder in the required amount into the container.

3. Mix the ingredients thoroughly with a fork, obtaining a smooth chocolate mass.

4. Before using, sift the flour through a sieve, then pour it into the main mixture in small portions, stirring at the same time with a spoon. You should get a thick mass. Try to break up the lumps as much as possible using a fork.

5. Then pour in filtered water at room temperature.

6. To get a homogeneous dough without lumps, beat it with a mixer or blender.

7. The thickness of the dough should be like traditional pancake dough, easily draining from the ladle. There is no need to add vegetable oil to the dough.

8. Heat a frying pan over a fire and grease its surface with oil. To fry pancakes, use a special pancake pan or a thick-walled cast iron pan. Using a small ladle, pour the batter into the pan and smooth it out to form a thin pancake. Fry the pancakes over medium heat for literally 1 minute on each side. Periodically grease the surface of the pan with vegetable oil using a brush.

9. Chocolate pancakes on water are ready. Roll them into triangles or tubes. If desired, you can drizzle the pancakes with chocolate.
