In the past, I have already prepared this dessert according to a recipe from the Internet, I remember that there were crispy, even slightly hard cookies, then this fact confused me. Although “choco pie” essentially consists of cookies, it is still soft and easy to bite, and goes perfectly with delicate cream and chocolate.

This time I decided to experiment and make cookies from biscuit dough. In my opinion, I made an excellent dough. The only thing is, I didn’t know how it would behave when baking. Ideally, you should get slightly flat round blanks. That’s what happened, but you can make it a little smaller in diameter, if you refer to the size of store-bought cookies.

We really liked the dessert, you could even say it turned out to be a cake, not a cookie. Perhaps someone will say: “Why bother when you can just buy it?” For me, it’s worth it - homemade baked goods can’t compare with store-bought ones, and at least I know what they’re made from. Ингредиенты

Cookie:

Chicken egg - 1 pc.

Sugar - 140 g

Sour cream - 4 tbsp.

Soda - 1/4 tsp.

Butter - 50 g

Wheat flour - 160 g

Cream:

Egg white - 2 pcs.

Powdered sugar - 120 g

Gelatin - 1 tsp.

Black chocolate - 100 g

Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.

1. For biscuit cookies, beat the egg and sugar until fluffy.

2. Add soft butter.

4. Beat well.

5. Pour out flour and add soda.

6. Mix well. The dough should be thick, but soft and airy.

7. Using a spoon or pastry bag, place the dough onto a greased baking sheet or baking paper. Bake until slightly golden brown at 180 degrees.

8. Using a glass, trim the cakes so that they are all equally beautiful.

9. You can put them in pairs in advance.

10. Soak gelatin in 50 ml of water. When it swells, melt it in a water bath or low heat. Don't boil! Add powdered sugar to the whites. Beat in a water bath until a strong white mass.

11. Pour gelatin in a thin stream and beat again. If the mass becomes thinner, put it in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes.

12. Place cream on one circle.

13. Cover with the second one. Place in the refrigerator.

14. Melt the chocolate, add vegetable oil and stir. When the cream has completely thickened, cover the cookies with chocolate. First, dip the sides of the cookies in chocolate, then coat the tops with a brush or spoon. Cool. Homemade Choco-Pie cookies are ready.
