Raspberries – 400 g
Water – 200 ml
Sugar – 450 g (as needed)

1. Prepare the ingredients according to the list.
2. Place the raspberries in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Add water in such an amount that it barely covers the raspberries.
3. Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce the heat so that the water constantly simmers, and cook the raspberries for 10 minutes so that the berries release their aroma, color and taste.
4. Then strain the mixture, separate the berries and squeeze them carefully. You can rub the berries through a sieve, but in this case the finished syrup will not be transparent.
5. Measure the amount of the resulting raspberry infusion. Place the broth back into the pan and add sugar. To obtain a thick syrup, there should be one and a half times more sugar than liquid. I got 300 milliliters of raspberry broth, so I add 450 grams of sugar.
6. Mix the ingredients and bring the mixture to a boil. Then reduce the heat and simmer the syrup for 5 minutes, skimming off any foam that forms.
7. Turn off the heat and cool the syrup. Then pour the syrup into a sterilized, airtight container and place in the refrigerator for storage.
8. Raspberry syrup is ready.
