Dear cooks, today I want to show you a recipe for an unusual soup.

This is what I was treated to on the border of Libya and Tunisia. It was served with aish (a dish similar to hominy) and lemon. Surprisingly, the soup turned out to be as tasty as it was unusual. I am happy to share the recipe, in case you decide to surprise someone with pure Africa.

Ингредиенты

Chicken liver - 300 grams;

Lamb ribs - 300 grams;

New potatoes - 7 pcs;

Young carrots - 4-6 pcs;

Onions - 2 pcs;

Bell pepper - 1 piece;

Turmeric - 1 tsp;

Paprika - 1 tsp;

Tomato paste - 1 tbsp;

Salt - to taste;

Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp;

Chicken egg - 7 pcs;

Tomato (cherry) - 4 pcs;

Greens - 0.5 bunch;

Dried herbs (onion, garlic, dill, coriander, camon) - 1 tsp.

1. I will not list all the ingredients, they are listed above. The important thing is that no refueling or separate frying is needed. We cook everything in one pan or cauldron. So, put the chicken liver and lamb in a saucepan. Add a heaping spoonful of tomato paste.

2. Add chopped onion.

3. Now all the spices: dry herbs, turmeric, paprika. If you follow the recipe exactly, you also need red hot pepper. If you are not an extreme sports enthusiast, then it is better to abandon this idea.

4. Add water (2 liters) and let it cook.

5. After 35-40 minutes, add peeled young vegetables

6. Let it cook again for about 15 minutes. This time is enough for the vegetables to cook without being overcooked. The soup will look something like this. Please note that all vegetables are uncut.

7. While the vegetables are cooking, hard-boil the eggs.

8. Peel the eggs and add to the sauce. Boil again and add finely chopped herbs and you can serve. Believe me, this is a dish worth trying.
