To cook Greek pumpkin, you need to prepare all the necessary products according to the list.

Pumpkin - 450 g
Pepper mixture - 0.5-1 tsp.
Basil - 0.5 tsp.
Tomato paste - 0.5 tbsp.
Salt - 0.5 tsp.
Olive oil - 2 tbsp.
Garlic - 2 cloves
Water - 2 tbsp.

1. Cut the pumpkin into large cubes. You should not take the amount of pumpkin strictly according to the recipe; you can take more. The main thing is that the pumpkin fits in one layer in the pan.
2. Pour olive oil into the pan and heat it up. Place the pumpkin pieces and fry on all sides until golden brown. In principle, you can also use sunflower oil, choose according to your preference.
3. Next, you need to fry the pumpkin with spices. Add pepper, salt, dry basil and tomato paste to the pan.
4. Coarsely chop the garlic, add it to the pumpkin, mix everything and fry for 1 minute.
5. Prepare a baking dish for pumpkin. Glass or ceramic will do. Place the pumpkin fried with spices in a mold and pour in 2 tbsp. water. Cover the pan with foil and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
6. Cook the pumpkin for 20-25 minutes. Greek pumpkin is delicious both hot and cold.
