Beetroot salad with raisins

Many of us traditionally prepare a salad with beets and garlic for the New Year's table.
Simple and delicious. Try to change traditions by preparing the same beet salad, but in a slightly different way. But it does not contain dried apricots and prunes, which are not always available at home. I advise you to place the salad on the festive table in layers, using a mold so that each layer is visible.

Boiled beets - 250 grams;
Raw carrots - 150 grams;
Cheese - 100 grams;
Garlic - 1-2 cloves;
Raisins - 1/2 cup;
Mayonnaise - 3-4 tbsp. spoons;
Chopped walnuts - 2-3 tbsp. spoons.

1. So, the set of products is minimal and can probably be found in any home. Beets (already boiled), carrots, any hard cheese, garlic, mayonnaise, walnuts and raisins.
2. All main products must be grated on a coarse grater. These are carrots, cheese and beets.
3. Be sure to pour hot water over the raisins and let them swell while you grate the vegetables.
4. It is better to immediately combine garlic with mayonnaise.
5. All the products are ready, now you just need to lay everything in layers. The beets will be the first and last layers. Place half of the grated beets and spread the layer with mayonnaise.
6. The next layer is raisins. In a salad, its sweet and sour notes will be most pleasant.
7. Place grated carrots on the raisins and brush the layer with mayonnaise.
8. Now it’s the turn of the cheese. I didn’t grease the cheese, but simply squeezed the mayonnaise out of the bag in “dots” to make the salad more airy.
9. We complete the composition with a layer of beets, grease it with mayonnaise and sprinkle with crushed walnuts.
10. Now you can carefully remove the mold. Salad ready!
