Jellied pie with chicken and potatoes

Chicken and potato jellied pie is a great idea if you need a hearty snack.

You can take it with you on a picnic, to the country house or to nature. It is also very tasty served with a cup of tea or coffee for breakfast or with first courses instead of bread for lunch. To prepare the dough we will need: premium wheat flour, eggs, sour cream, mayonnaise, soda, vinegar and salt.

Ингредиенты

For the test:

Sour cream 20% - 200 g

Egg of 1st category - 4 pcs.

Wheat flour - 130 g (7 tbsp.)

Mayonnaise - 30 g (1 tbsp)

Soda - 0.5 tsp.

Vinegar - 1 tsp.

Salt - 0.5 tsp.

For filling:

Chicken fillet - 300 g

Potatoes - 2 pcs.

Green onion - 2 feathers

Salt - to taste

Pepper, h.m. - taste

Рецепт

1. In a deep bowl, beat the eggs with a whisk.

2. Add sifted flour, sour cream, mayonnaise, salt and soda, slaked with vinegar. Whisk well and set aside. After a while, bubbles will appear on the surface of the dough.

3. To fill the pie we will need: chicken fillet, potatoes and green onions, as well as salt and black pepper.

4. Grate the potatoes into thin circles on a grater. Chop chicken fillet and green onions.

5. Fold the parchment in half or three times, place it at a sharp angle in the center of the baking dish, trim off the excess in a circle. The shape is 21 cm in diameter.

6. Line the bottom of the mold with parchment, grease it and the edges of the mold with vegetable oil.

7. Pour half the dough, add a layer of potatoes, salt and pepper.

8. Place a layer of chopped chicken fillet on the potatoes, salt and pepper.

9. Sprinkle with half the amount of chopped green onions.

10. Place the remaining potatoes, salt and pepper.

11. Remove the chicken and potato jellied pie from the oven, cover with a clean towel and let it cool completely.

12. Delicious with a cup of coffee or tea for breakfast. Or with a cup of milk for lunch. Enjoy!
