If you are a true culinary gourmet, then be sure to try the salad with shrimp and strawberries, because it’s impossible to tear yourself away from this seafood dish! It turns out to be low-calorie, appetizing and practically dietary. Nuts and vegetable oil will not settle on your sides! Shrimp are sold in any supermarket, but boiled and frozen, so you only need to heat them on low heat for about 1-2 minutes in boiling water, and then cool and peel them. Remember that the esophagus must be removed from such seafood!

Choose non-juicy varieties of strawberries so that when you place the slices in a plate, drips do not form. A green salad base can be either leaf lettuce, arugula, or spinach. You can easily replace nuts with white or black sesame seeds, hazelnuts, walnuts or sunflower seeds.

Large shrimps - 6-7 pcs.

Strawberries - 150 g

Leaf lettuce - 15 g (bunch)

Roasted peanuts - 40 g

Salt and pepper - to taste

Vegetable oil - 20 ml

1. Pour water into the pan and place the container on the stove. Bring to a boil and add shrimp to it. Boil over moderate heat for about 1-2 minutes to defrost and warm through completely. If the seafood was purchased fresh or freshly frozen, then boil it for 10 minutes, adding a little salt to the water. Then remove from the water, cool, peel off the shells and remove the esophagus.

2. Wash the lettuce, tear off the ends of the stems, shake off excess liquid and distribute the salad on a plate.

3. Place shrimp on leaf lettuce.

4. Tear off the stems from the strawberries, rinse the berries and cut each of them in half. Place on a plate.

5. Sprinkle with roasted peanuts. Salt and pepper to taste. Drizzle the shrimp and strawberry salad with unscented olive oil, preferably cold-pressed.

6. Garnish the dish with fresh herbs and serve immediately.
