Sandwich “Monkey” with cheese and sausage

The Monkey Sandwich is normally a fun sandwich for kids. Now, of course, they are especially popular as sandwiches for the Year of the Monkey.
They can be made from a variety of products, the main thing is to imagine in general what the sketchy faces of a monkey look like. I use gray bread, two types of sausage (thin slices), one layer of thinly sliced cheese (need without holes), well, literally a gram of butter to stick the sausage onto the bread, and olives for the eyes.

Piece of salami - 1 pc.

1. It is also important to decide what we will cut with. You can, of course, just use a knife, but, you see, this can turn out sloppy. Therefore, it is better to find glasses of two sizes at home in advance, larger and smaller. Using a larger glass, cut out a round base from the bread.
2. I was lucky - I had a glass the same size as the sausage, so there was no need to trim the sausage. If the sausage is a little smaller or larger than a mug of bread, that’s also normal. Glue the sausage onto the bread with butter. By the way, it would be possible to spread the bread with pate instead of sausage.
3. Using a smaller glass, cut out the monkey’s muzzle under the nose and mouth. This circle is too big for me, there is no room left for the eyes, so I, having measured the dimensions of the workpiece, cut off the top of it with a knife.
4. Using the same glass, divide the muzzle into upper and lower jaws.
5. Cut out segments from the salami that roughly fit the role of the tongue in an arc. We insert them into the mouth.
6. Using a cookie cutter, cut out semicircular ears. I cut with a mushroom, but hearts and flowers have similar arcs... in short, just look at what you have suitable, if you don’t have anything, cut with a knife along the contour of a teaspoon. We insert the ears between the sausage and the bread.
7. All that remains is to make the eyes and nostrils. For the eyes, we cut the olive into halves, the half into quarters, the quarters into eighths, and these eighths will represent the eyes.
8. And the nostrils will be made from a quarter of an olive, cut into thin slices across.
9. To be honest, the eyes and nostrils are not supported by anything, these monkey face sandwiches are not for transportation and presentation, but to make a child smile and eat right away. But for the rest, they are already ready, quite quickly. If there was a need to make the eyes and nostrils stick, they would have to be glued to diluted gelatin.
