In addition to the fact that this colorful appetizer is incredibly tasty, it is also not as expensive as herring under a fur coat. This is because herring in the list of ingredients has been replaced by ordinary spiced sprat, which can easily be found in any fish store or supermarket.
And jellied sprat under a fur coat are clearly formed individual portions, because the salad is not greased, but filled with mayonnaise with gelatin, so that each guest can receive not just part of the salad, but a separate, shaped portion.
Ингредиенты
Potatoes - 2 pcs.
Beets - 1 pc.
Carrots - 1 pc.
Spicy salted sprat - 200-250 g
Mayonnaise - 5 tbsp.
Gelatin - 10 g
Water - 100 ml
Salt - to taste

1. Boil all vegetables, except beets, until ready in advance and cool. Boil the beets separately so that they do not turn the rest of the vegetables burgundy.
2. Pour hot water over the gelatin and let it swell for 10-15 minutes, and then stir until completely dissolved.
3. Clean the spicy salted sprat from the fins and backbone and cut into small pieces. Grate the boiled vegetables on a large-mesh grater.
4. Place a layer of grated boiled beets on the bottom of the muffin tins.
5. Place a layer of grated boiled carrots on it. Behind it is a layer of grated boiled potatoes. If you like this salad with onions, then place it on a layer of potatoes.
6. The last layer is pieces of spicy salted sprat.
7. Then add mayonnaise to the bloomed gelatin and mix well. If the sprat is not too salty, then add a little salt to the mayonnaise. Pour about 2-3 tbsp into each mold. mayonnaise liquid. Place the mold in the refrigerator for 1.5-2 hours.
8. After the specified time, turn the mold upside down and carefully remove our snack from it.
