Baked chicken in a festive version - not so difficult
To make the bird more vibrant in taste, tangerine juice, a little balsamic vinegar and aromatic herbs are used for the marinade. The chicken is baked on a bed of oranges, and the carcass itself is filled with tangerines and fresh thyme. The result is an amazing aroma and taste!

Chicken - 1.4 kg (1 pc.)
Tangerines - 2 pcs.
Orange - 1 pc.
Balsamic vinegar - 1 tbsp. spoon
Butter - 2 tbsp. spoons
Olive oil - 2 tbsp. spoons
Salt - to taste
Ground black pepper - to taste
Fresh thyme - 5-6 sprigs
Dried rosemary - 1 teaspoon
Dried sage - 1 teaspoon

1. Rinse and dry the chicken carcass. Tie chicken legs. Wash the tangerine, dry it, cut it in half and place it inside the carcass. Also add two sprigs of thyme and some dried herbs rosemary and sage.
2. Rub the top of the chicken with salt, pepper and the remaining dried herbs.
3. Squeeze the juice of the second tangerine into a bowl, add balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Mix.
4. Thoroughly coat the chicken with marinade and add the remaining thyme. Then wrap the chicken in cling film and refrigerate for 6-8 hours.
5. After a while, preheat the oven and set the temperature to 180 degrees. Prepare the grill. Wash the orange, dry it and cut it into round slices. Place the orange slices on the grill.
6. Place the chicken carcass on top of the oranges. Melt the butter and brush the chicken.
7. Move the wire rack onto a baking sheet and put it in the oven. Bake for 1.5-2 hours. If the chicken is browning too much, cover with foil.
8. After a while, carefully remove the baking sheet and check the readiness of the chicken.
9. Transfer the chicken to a plate and decorate as desired.
10. Serve the chicken to the table.
