Chicken thighs with potatoes in the oven are an excellent complete dish for a family lunch or weekend dinner.
Chicken thighs are pre-marinated in kefir sauce and then baked along with potatoes. Thanks to the marinade, the thighs become very soft, melting in your mouth, and the potatoes are saturated with all the flavors. My family really likes this dish, I hope you like it too.
Prepare all products according to the list. I used pepper blend and Italian herbs for seasonings, then added chicken and potato seasonings along the way.

Chicken thighs - 6 pcs.
Potatoes - 1 kg
Garlic - 2-3 cloves
Tomato - 1-2 pcs.
Kefir - 300 ml
Italian herbs - 3 tsp.
Salt, pepper - to taste
Seasoning for chicken - to taste
Seasoning for potatoes - to taste
Sunflower oil - for lubrication
Olive oil - 2 tbsp.

1. Wash the chicken thighs well, remove hairs and rub with chicken seasoning, pepper and salt. Mix kefir with Italian herbs and pour this marinade over chicken thighs for 30 minutes.
2. While the thighs are marinating, prepare the potatoes. Cut it into large slices, place in a bowl, add chopped garlic, a couple of tablespoons of olive oil, salt and ground pepper. Stir the potatoes until the seasonings are evenly distributed.
3. Grease a refractory dish with sunflower oil and place potatoes on the bottom. Sprinkle it with potato seasoning and arrange the sliced tomatoes.
4. Then lay out the chicken thighs and pour the remaining kefir marinade on top.
5. Bake chicken thighs with potatoes in the oven at 200 degrees for 45-55 minutes.
6. Divide the finished dish into portions and serve with homemade pickles, which we managed to stock up on in the summer.
