Colorful shakshuka with ground beef and vegetables is a great nutritious breakfast or snack option.

The combination of tomatoes, onions, sweet peppers and scrambled eggs provides the dish with juiciness, appetizing taste and aroma, and minced meat adds satiety.

Ингредиенты

Eggs - 4 pcs.

Minced beef - 300 g

Tomatoes - 300 g

Bell pepper - 150 g

Onion - 80 g (1 small)

Garlic - 6 g (1 clove)

Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. spoons

Ground sweet paprika - 1 teaspoon

Salt - to taste

Ground black pepper - to taste

Fresh parsley (for serving, optional) - 2-3 sprigs

1. Peel the onions and cut them into thin quarter rings. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes. Peel the sweet peppers and cut them into small cubes, like tomatoes. Peel and chop the garlic.

2. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add onion, garlic and bell pepper and, stirring, fry for about 7-8 minutes until soft.

3. Then add minced meat.

4. Stirring and breaking up lumps, fry the mixture for about 15-20 minutes, until the minced meat is ready.

5. Add chopped tomatoes, add ground paprika, salt and ground black pepper to taste.

6. Stir and cook for another 4-5 minutes.

7. Then make small depressions in the mixture of minced meat and vegetables (not reaching the bottom of the pan) and break the chicken eggs into them.

8. Reduce heat to low, cover the pan with a lid and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the yolk is done to your liking.

9. Shakshuka with minced meat is ready. If desired, sprinkle the finished dish with a pinch of chopped parsley (or other herbs) and serve. Bon appetit!
