Pasta is fried in two types of oil: butter and vegetable. Serve with cheese. Remember that not all pasta cooks evenly, so some will be browned while others will be light brown. Take the necessary ingredients to prepare fried pasta in Armenian style and let’s start cooking! Grate the hard cheese in advance on a fine-mesh grater.

Ингредиенты

Pasta (horns) - 150 g

Butter - 40 g

Vegetable oil - 1.5 tbsp.

Salt - 2-3 pinches

Hot water - 2 glasses

Hard cheese - 40-50 g

1. Place the butter in a cauldron or pan with a non-stick bottom. Pour in odorless vegetable oil. Place the container on the stove and heat it up. Boil water in a kettle.

2. Add the pasta and stir, reduce the heat to medium so that it does not burn. Fry them for about 2-3 minutes, stirring.

3. Remember that pasta browns very quickly, so be prepared!

4. Once you like the color of the fried pasta, carefully pour in boiling water and add salt. If desired, you can add other spices and herbs. Bring the contents of the container to a boil and boil for about 15-20 minutes - fried pasta takes a little longer to cook than unfried pasta.

5. When almost all the liquid has boiled away, turn off the heat and cover the container with a lid. Let the dish steam for about 3-5 minutes.

6. Then place the Armenian fried pasta on a plate and sprinkle with grated cheese. You can replace hard cheese with soft cheese: feta cheese, mozzarella, suluguni.

7. Serve the prepared dish to the table hot while the cheese is melted.
