Potato soup with garlic and cream

Cream soups are a great thing!

Both tasty and healthy. Especially for those who have problems with the gastrointestinal tract. Mashed potato soup is a simple and tasty soup, quick to prepare and not at all expensive. If you do not add cream to it and do not use butter, you can cook it during Lent. Serve with croutons.

To prepare mashed potato soup, prepare the ingredients according to the list.

Ингредиенты

Potatoes - 600-800 grams

Onions - 1 pc.

Refined sunflower oil - for frying

Garlic - 3-4 cloves

Butter - 10 grams

Cream 10% - to taste

Salt, pepper - to taste

Рецепт

1. Chop the onion and fry in sunflower oil.

2. Peel the potatoes, chop them (you don’t have to chop them: we’ll still mash them) and add them to the pan with the fried onions. Fill with water, add salt and set to cook. Cook until the potatoes are soft.

3. While the potatoes are cooking, peel the garlic and fry in butter.

4. Potatoes are ready. Transfer it with a slotted spoon to another pan. Do not pour out the broth in which the potatoes were boiled!!! Puree the potatoes with an immersion blender, adding potato broth to the desired thickness.

5. Add fried garlic along with oil. Puree again. If necessary, add salt.

6. The mashed potato soup turns out very tender and silky! Season with black pepper and add cream.

7. Potato soup is ready. Serve warm.
