Two flavors of healthy peanut urbech - basic and chocolate - in one recipe.
An ancient dish of Dagestan cuisine - urbech - is very popular these days, especially among lovers of healthy eating. The authentic technology for preparing this product is still preserved: raw seeds or nuts are ground in stone millstones, the paste is not subjected to heat treatment, so all the beneficial substances are preserved as much as possible. Over time, urbech has a lot of variations with different flavoring additives, as well as simplified methods of preparing pasta.
Urbech is used not only in its original form, it is a vitamin and energy supplement in porridges, salads and even hummus. I suggest using the basic recipe to also prepare a chocolate version of urbech from peanuts.
Let's prepare the products: you need peanuts already peeled and definitely unsalted. You can use sea salt or regular table salt. For convenience, it is better to take liquid honey, but if it is candied or too thick, it can be carefully heated in a water bath to the desired consistency.
Ингредиенты
Peanuts (shelled) - 250 g
Honey (liquid) - 15 g
Vegetable oil - 40 g
Salt - to taste
Cocoa powder - 1 tsp.
Рецепт
1. Dry raw and peeled peanuts in a dry frying pan over low heat (or in the oven) until a pleasant nutty aroma and golden color appear. All this time, the peanuts must be stirred continuously so that the nuts do not burn and dry evenly.
2. Place the peanuts in a food processor, add a pinch of salt and grind at high speed.
3. When the peanuts begin to turn into paste, add vegetable oil and honey.
4. Continue grinding the peanuts along with the additives, and after a few minutes you will get Urbech peanut butter.
5. Place half of the basic urbech into a jar, and add cocoa powder to the remaining half and turn on the processor for a little while longer so that the cocoa powder combines with the paste.
6. Urbech made from peanuts with the taste and color of chocolate is also ready. We transfer it to another jar, and you can help yourself.
7. It is important to remember that urbech is a high-calorie product and can be consumed in doses, no more than 3 tsp. in a day.
8. Bon appetit and good health to you!
