A proven recipe for homemade yeast bread with flax seeds. The bread is cooked in olive oil. Baked in a Moulinex bread machine.

According to culinary and historical information, the first taste of cereals was tasted by people back in the Stone Age. Primitive man collected wild grains and chewed them. Much later, after centuries, people learned to eat bread soup - ground grains mixed with water. It is believed that it was in this form that the first bread was born. Further, the stew became thicker and thicker until it turned into dough.

The second step towards the birth of modern bread was the creation of the flatbread. It lasted longer than stew and could serve as food on the road. The method of fermentation and leavening can be considered the final step in the invention of bread. In Rus', bread was considered real wealth and was valued more than meat. A housewife who knew how to bake bread enjoyed special respect and honor.

Modern housewives cannot always boast of this skill, but their home bread maker copes with a bang. Today I'm sharing my favorite recipe for Flax Seed Olive Yeast Bread. I bake bread in a bread machine using my own technology. Everything described in the instructions was tried, but did not give the desired result. I still advise you to follow the sequence outlined in this recipe.

Wheat flour – 500 g

Drinking water – 360 ml

Flax seeds – 2 tbsp.

Salt – 6 g

Sugar – 6 g

Dry instant yeast – 4 g

Olive oil – 3 tbsp.

1. Pour warm olive oil into the bottom of the baking pan.

2. Add warm drinking water to the oil - no more than 37°C. The water should not be boiled.

3. Pre-sieve the flour. Add a few tablespoons at a time. Pour salt and sugar into the corners.

4. Let's make a depression in the slide with flour. Add dry yeast there.

5. “bury” the yeast in the flour. Immediately add flax seeds.

6. The instructions for use describe that bread additives must be added after the first timer signal. I explain why I put everything in at once. If you add flax seeds to the formed dough ball, the machine will not be able to distribute them evenly inside the bread. So, start the bread maker in baking mode for 3 hours 19 minutes. The crust is dark. At the signal, take out the form. Cover with a towel.

7. After 5 minutes, remove the bread from the pan. Remove the kneading blade with a hook. Cover the bread with a towel until it cools completely.

8. Yeast olive bread with flax seeds is ready.

9. Cut with a bread knife.
