An excellent recipe for steamed potato dumplings, steamed in a slow cooker.
Usually, dumplings, like dumplings, are boiled in a pan of water. Today we will prepare dumplings in an unusual way, namely, in a steamed slow cooker. The filling can be very varied - it's a matter of your taste. In my case, dumplings are with potatoes.
To prepare steamed dumplings in a slow cooker, prepare the ingredients according to the list.

Dough:
Flour - 450 g
Egg - 1 pc.
Salt - 1/2 tsp.
Water - 210 ml
Filling:
Potatoes - 1 kg
Milk - 200 ml
Butter - 50 g
Salt - to taste
Lard - 10 g
Onion - 2 pcs.
Vegetable oil - for lubrication

1. For the filling, prepare mashed potatoes, to which we add fried onions with cracklings.
2. Make dumplings using a special device or cut out circles with a glass.
3. Place the filling on them.
4. And pinch the edges.
5. Pour a little vegetable oil into a saucer, dip each dumpling into the oil on one side and place them on a plate. This is necessary so that after cooking they do not stick.
6. Pour a liter of water into the multicooker bowl, place the plate with dumplings in the bowl and turn on the steaming mode for 30 minutes.
7. Place the steamed dumplings with potatoes in a slow cooker on a plate, brush with butter and serve hot with sour cream.
