A delicious appetizer salad made from boiled pork in a marinade, which can diversify the holiday menu.

“Cold shish kebab” salad is a kind of meat appetizer made from boiled pork, which is poured with marinade for several hours and then served. Conveniently, the salad can be prepared in advance and served directly on the holiday table. A long time ago I tried this salad at a party, and recently I came across it on the Internet and decided to cook it right away. Like many dishes, this salad has both lovers and those who think that the salad is so-so and real kebab tastes better. I won’t argue, but we really liked this appetizer.

It is better to cook from lean meat, at least it is better to trim off all excess meat. And the broth, by the way, can be used to make soup or okroshka, as it turns out to be completely low-fat.

To prepare the salad, prepare the necessary ingredients from the list.

Ингредиенты

Pork - 800-900 g (about 600 g of boiled meat is obtained)

Onion - 2 pcs.

Parsley - 2 tbsp. l.

For the marinade:

Cold boiled water - 50 ml

Sugar - 3 tbsp. l.

Salt - 1.5 tsp.

Vinegar 9% - 9 tbsp. l.

Ground black pepper - 0.5 tsp.

Vegetable oil - 5 tbsp. l.

Рецепт

1. Rinse the meat well, boil 1 liter of water and put the meat in it. Let it boil, skim off the foam. Add bay leaf, peppercorns to the water and at the end of cooking - a teaspoon of salt. You can also add a whole onion to the broth.

2. Cool the boiled meat in the broth. While the meat is cooling, cut the onion into rings and chop the parsley.

3. Mix all the ingredients for the marinade. The marinade should be spicy, sweet and sour.

4. Cut the cooled meat into strips.

5. Place the meat in a suitable container, topping it with parsley and onion rings. The amount of onion can be safely increased.

6. Pour marinade over the meat. Close the container with a lid and put it in the refrigerator for 8 hours or more. The longer the meat is marinated, the tastier it will be.

7. Place the prepared “Cold Shish Kebab” salad into plates and serve.
