A tasty and healthy spread on bread. Suitable for breakfast every day, or can be served in tartlets for a holiday table.

Prepare all the necessary products for pollock pate.

Ингредиенты

Pollock fillet - 300 g

Chicken eggs - 1 pc.

Onions - 1 pc.

Carrots - 1/2 pcs.

Olive oil - 3 tbsp.

Dill - to taste

Spices for fish - 1/2 tsp.

Salt and pepper - to taste

Water - 100 ml

Vegetable oil for frying - 2 tbsp.

1. First, hard boil an egg, cool, and peel.

2. Peel the vegetables, cut the onion into medium half rings and place in a frying pan with vegetable oil.

3. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater or cut into small pieces, place in a frying pan with the onion, and fry until soft over moderate heat. Don't forget to stir so the vegetables don't burn.

4. Rinse the pollock fillet under cold running water, cut into pieces (no need to chop) and place in a frying pan with the vegetables.

5. Season with fish spices, salt and pepper, add 100 milliliters of water, cover and simmer for about 10-15 minutes over low heat. During this time, the fish will cook and the liquid will evaporate.

6. Place the fish and vegetables in a deep bowl of a suitable size or in a blender bowl.

7. Add a boiled egg. Rinse the dill and dry it from water with a napkin, chop and place in a bowl. Pour in olive oil, cool. If you use butter, the fish and vegetables should be completely cooled. Otherwise, the butter will melt, and this is undesirable for the pate.

8. Grind with a blender into a homogeneous mass. If you don't have a blender, use a meat grinder with a fine grinding attachment.

9. Transfer the fish pate into a container, cover with a lid and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Delicious, tender homemade pollock pate is ready to eat.
