Kefir - 190 g

Wheat flour - 380 g

2. Beat in a chicken egg and add a pinch of salt. Beat until smooth.

3. Add sifted wheat flour in small portions until thick. Sprinkle the work surface with flour. Lay out the thick dough. Add flour a little at a time and knead into a soft dough.

4. It shouldn't turn out cool. With prolonged kneading (5-10 minutes), the dough becomes elastic and very pleasant to the touch. It's a pleasure to work with him. Cover with a towel and leave for 15-20 minutes.

5. Form the dough into sausages and cut into small portions.

6. Boil water, add a little salt. Drop the dough pieces into boiling water. Stir. When the dumplings float to the surface, cook for about five minutes.

7. Poltava dumplings are ready. If desired, flavor with butter.
