I suggest baking the duck in a sleeve in the oven.

Duck baked according to this recipe turns out very juicy, tasty and with a ginger-orange aroma. You can use apples as a filling for duck or bake duck without filling; today I have duck with oranges.

Ингредиенты

Duck - 2 kg

Oranges - 1.5 pcs.

Spices for duck – 1 tsp.

Marinade:

Lemon – 1.5 pcs.

Soy sauce – 80 ml

Mayonnaise – 1 tbsp.

Honey – 3 tbsp.

Ground ginger – 1 tsp.

Garlic – 3 cloves

Marinade:

1. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.

2. Add ginger, honey, soy sauce, mix.

3. Heat the mixture in the microwave until the honey dissolves, it took me 30 seconds.

4. Add chopped garlic and mayonnaise.

5. Mix well and let it brew for 30-40 minutes.

6. Our marinade for duck in the oven is ready. You can start marinating the bird.

Duck:

1. Coat the duck with marinade.

2. Place in a baking sleeve, tie the bag on one side only and leave to marinate for 4-6 hours in the refrigerator. During marinating, turn over and shake the duck several times.

3. Take the duck out of the bag, cut off the joint at the wings. It is better to cut off the joints after marinating, because... When turning the bird over, the bag may tear. Sprinkle the bird with spices.

4. Stuff with orange slices.

5. Place it back into the bag and tie it on both sides with thread. We make several punctures in the bag with a needle.

6. Bake the duck in the sleeve in the oven at 180*C for 1 hour and 50 minutes. For every kilogram of poultry, 1 hour of baking is required. Then cut the bag and bake for another 10 minutes.

7. Our duck is ready.
