A recipe for a very tasty and bright manna made with kefir without flour. For flavor we will use lemon zest and juice.

I’ve already made semolina balls, but I tried semolina with kefir without flour. A simple and quick recipe with excellent results. My version of manna includes lemon zest and lemon juice; you can add raisins if desired. This manna is delicious to eat with jam or sour cream.

In order to prepare a simple manna with kefir without flour, we will prepare the products according to the list.

Ингредиенты

Semolina - 200 g

Kefir - 500 ml

Eggs - 2 pcs.

Sugar - 100 g

Baking powder - 10 g

Butter - 20 g

Lemon zest and juice - 1 pc.

Salt - 1 pinch

1. Pour warm kefir over the semolina and let it brew for 30 minutes so that the semolina swells.

2. Break the eggs into a separate bowl and beat with a fork.

3. Add sugar, baking powder, and salt to the swollen semolina. Stir until the sugar dissolves, you can use a mixer.

4. Add beaten eggs and mix again.

5. Zest the lemon, squeeze out the juice and add to the semolina dough.

6. Grease the manna baking pan with butter and pour out the dough.

7. Bake manna in the oven at 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Remove the form with the prepared manna from the oven and cool without removing the manna.

8. Serve manna prepared with kefir without flour, with jam, sour cream or fruit sauce.
