Today I want to talk about one of my favorite cocktails. Between ourselves, my friends and I called this cocktail “Glass of Passion.” So it happened... One said it, others picked it up. That's how the name stuck. I asked why “passion,” and my friend replied: “So look - flames, and intoxicating ones at that - why not passion?”
This cocktail is reminiscent of a delicate Bellini, but it is slightly different. In principle, using the recipe for the famous Cipriani cocktail, this one arose, which is no worse, and even wins in some ways. If it is better to use white peaches for Bellini, then for this cocktail, on the contrary, bright yellow ones. This will make the cocktail look more beautiful in a glass.
Another good thing is that fresh peaches can be bought at almost any time of the year. I tried to make it with canned ones, it also turned out wonderful, but you don’t need to add sugar there anymore. Undoubtedly, this is a great option for a holiday, March 8, or even for the New Year's table.
So, a peach cocktail with red wine “Glass of Passion”...
Peaches must be peeled. Remove the seeds.
Ингредиенты
Ripe yellow peaches – 5 pcs.
Red wine – 600 ml
Sugar – 50 g
Ice in cubes
Рецепт
1. Then put it in a deep bowl and puree it with a blender. If the puree is not sweet, then add sugar to your taste.
2. If you decide to prepare pure Bellini with the top layer, then the peach puree should be combined with white sparkling wine or champagne. Try this ratio 2:2.
3. I didn’t add white wine to the peach puree. So, pour half a glass of peach puree.
4. And pour red wine into the middle. You should be left with a pink speck on the surface of the puree. The wine is heavier and will settle at the bottom of the cocktail, while the yellow peach puree will remain at the top.
5. For lovely ladies! The recipe is for you.
