Recipe for cooking salmon fillet in the oven in pots with vegetables.
I really like salmon cooked with potatoes and other vegetables in pots in the oven. This roast with fish turns out very tasty, aromatic and does not cool down for a long time when served, which is especially suitable for a feast with family or friends.
The cheese for the dish is of those varieties that melt well (mozzarella, suluguni, processed cream, etc.). It will add a delicious creamy hue to the broth, and with a significant amount of it, the potatoes will turn out to be like a sauce.
To prepare salmon in pots, prepare the ingredients according to the list for the recipe.
I will cook two pots from one salmon steak, i.e. two portions. An extra pot in which to bake the potatoes would be a good idea. Suddenly someone finds the side dish not enough...
Ингредиенты
Salmon - 1 steak about 300 g
Potatoes - from 3 pcs.
Onion - 1 head
Champignons - 1-2 pcs. optional
Cheese - from 50 to 100 g
Butter - about 50 g
Salt - to taste
Water - about 1 glass
Additionally:
Yeast dough - up to 300 g
Рецепт
1. Grease the inside of the pots well with butter, almost rub it with it. Place onion pieces in the bottom of each pot and lightly salt.
2. If desired, add pieces of champignon to each pot or for those who prefer.
3. Place potatoes cut into medium cubes on top.
4. Add a slice of cheese and a piece of butter, cover with a lid or foil and place in the oven. Turn on 180-200 degrees and leave the pots of vegetables to bake for about half an hour.
5. During this time, if desired, you can prepare yeast dough using dry fast-acting yeast, from which you can make an edible, tasty lid for pots... And most importantly, you need to prepare the salmon fillet! Cut the skin off a piece or steak of salmon, remove the backbone and all bones and cut the fillet into pieces.
6. Add salmon to the almost finished potatoes on top of the pot and add a little salt.
7. Do not drown the pieces of fish, let them remain on top and cook as if steamed, enriching the broth with its juice.
8. Cover the pots again with lids (foil) or replace them with dough cakes! I didn’t plan this... My hands somehow quickly kneaded the elementary dough, like for pizza.
9. Cook the roast for another 20-30 minutes.
10. Serve the salmon in the pots and let them eat it however you like: either straight from the pots or transferred to bowls.
11. “Bread caps” are perfect for this dish. Freshly baked, aromatic, fluffy, soft, they just beg to be dipped in a rich broth... And rye bread is also very on point!
12. Bon appetit!
